Hampton Dellinger currently serves as the Special Counsel at the Office of Special Counsel. Dellinger previously served in the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant Attorney General overseeing the Office of Legal Policy. Throughout his political history, Dellinger has been a staunch supporter of stronger whistleblower protections. He discusses his recent work to honor whistleblowers and increase their protections, including mandating whistleblower training in federal agency certification issues by the OSC. Earlier in 2024, Dellinger joined National Whistleblower Center’s call to establish a permanent National Whistleblower Day celebration by penning a letter to Congress.
